My report for the day:

I ran a small gas weed eater for a little while today. It almost killed my arms. I did a terrible job. It looked awful where it had used it. I will try again tomorrow. We got three yards cleaned up. The one we will work on tomorrow if the rain holds off hasn't been mowed all summer. It will be very interesting.

About something someone said years ago? Mine was deleted too.
Odd.

Ummm, day....
Son went to visit his sister and someone else down south. If he was more cooperative I could have made him chick on AZ.

Dog pooped.

Mom griped and repeated herself. It now takes us 4 hours to eat lunch, go to the deli and go to the supermarket.

She resist all talk of moving to the Catholic senior community. Which is exactly what she needs at 91.

Hubby feels better. Not 100%.

We got a basket of cookies from some people at his job.
Cookies are good!

Good morning everybody! I had Klondike bars this week. I already ate my two out of the package. If the rest if the family u doesn't eat theirs, I might. It is raining already! It was supposed to wait until this afternoon! We have one more house to finish! We have plenty to do but I like outside work much better.

Proof we went to the lake over the weekend. We had planned on going back for the4th. We will watch it rain.

Three ingredient tacos in the crock pot. Chicken, package of taco seasoning, jar of salsa. Yummy.

Raining harder. Hubby weed eated in the rain to finish our house. Now inside. Trying to swap weed eater head thingies. Has one that won't run and one that won't advance the string. Trying to make one good one.

Good morning. Tuesdays are stupid busy for me.

Taking Friday off.

Babysitting 3 yorkies starting tonight through Saturday. I asked the owner via text if she minded if I shaved them. ROFL. I send fun texts and pics while dog sitting. Should be fun.

Gave son thorough instructions to clean the kitchen last night and he did a great job! He knows since he doesn't have a job that he's my unpaid labor for the summer. So far he's cleaned toilets, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen, blew out the garage, and run a couple errands for me. He does get days off though.

Should we go to the drive in movie theater, with thunderstorms in the forecast?

decisions, decisions.

Grandson gone. Husband got both knees drained and the doc said come back in Nov to schedule a knee replacement for Jan because Nov and Dec are always busy with people using up their insurance before the year's up. And he won't do both knees at once. That's a relief to me.

Depends on the movie. Perfect Storm? Absolutely.

Despicable Me 2 and Monsters University. So a storm won't really increase realism.

ours too, and the lone ranger. But there are 2 screens so LR and WWZ are the other double feature.

I think I'm currently leaning toward going, then staying in bed until noon tomorrow.

Sounds good. We have to get up much earlier than usual to go to a parade. One grandson spending the night. Have to get a parking spot at least by 9 and set up the chairs. Fortunately, the parking lot is right beside an Arby's, so Arby's then for breakfast. I hope it's not raining, those ponchos are hot.

Edit: I'd like to see Heat sometime this week. The Lone Ranger got really bad reviews.

Not much interest in the lone ranger, maybe on dvd down the line.

Saw Sandra Bullock talking about the heat on graham norton... looks like it will be a good movie.

good luck with the parade, personally I'm planning to spend as much of the day as possible in bed. maybe getting out to cook bacon or grill steak.

Back from the mall. Had to take some pillows back to JCP. Alternative down is nothing at all like down. I suppose it could be called alternative rubber, too. It's just that down/feather pillows are so darn expensive. Oh, well, bit the bullet and got some at Macy's that were, thankfully, on sale. Still, the credit card took a hit.

You still have drive in's?

Wow. Been forever since ours closed.

Don't leave the car on with the windows closed. A girl in my grade in high school did that and she and her boyfriend died.
How they didn't know that is odd.

evenin' kidds

got bitty by a kitty today. a feral kitty. actually broke down and called doc for antibiotics. also using chamomile and calendula hot soaks and creams. damn cat. at least she had already been spayed and vaccinated. only problem is that the group that did that didn't test her for FeLV-FIV and the folks wanted that done before they released her into the colony. so ended up having to sedate this thing to get three drops of blood from her. Hell, she took more out of me!

good news is that I DID NOT keep the little kitten that I had for the weekend. She went to a good home yesterday The Reddog is out of a job again!
