Hmmm, usually Screaming Monkeys on the main Woot site means that the Woot-off is over. But, it's only 10:15 (eastern), so that can't be right.

I got a monkey last time around, but he doesn't scream. Not sure if I should be disappointed by that or thankful.

I have close to over 50 woot purchases, but ive never caught a monkey yet.....so im in for 3!

How many woot offs now with no crap? I still like looking at the other things, don't get me wrong, but it's just not the same

totally depends on what "you" consider a "true deal". If you mean the last time I purchased something on woot that I honestly could not find cheaper online? yeah that would be about 2 days ago

Bought one of these. Sound quality was terrible and it slowed down when blending ice cubes!!!!

I bought one of these way back in the day that had like rubber tubing in the arms and legs so you could stretch it and shoot it across the room while it screamed, but then my dog chewed it up LOL. Wonder if this one is the same thing or if it just screams?

Those of you with seemingly Mute Monkeys Did look for the Pull tab in its/ their back under the cape or possible in th neck? Just to clarify

Monkey mutism may be due to the little plastic tab that protects the batteries from running down during storage/shipping. Look for a little plastic tab sticking out the middle of the monkey's back; if present - pull it out.
On the other hand, if your monkey arrived without such a tab, your batteries are probably already dead.

Years of experience have taught me that a basket full of these monkeys will eventually stop screaming. As it happens, nothing terrifies co-workers more than a flying, silent monkey sailing through the cubicles. Stock up now and serve no monkey before its time.

Didn't these use to be $1.99 each?? At twice the price they're not so nice!!

My parents went to China, and all they got me was a crappy Sceaming Toow Monkee. I guess that's better than the "Official Woto! T-sh it" they got last time.
