Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Its been a couple years since my last one.

Taking two weeks in April, a week in May, a forced week in July, and Christmas week.

We have not been this slow where I work in years and I am taking it while I can.

Yes - took time to visit friends in South America (summer break for them). However, the company only allows limited carryover of vacation days and lumps Vacation and sick days into one pile. (They don't tell anyone that until after you're hired - make it sound like all vacation time until you're locked in.) So, I start the year with NO personal days. Oh well ... I do have a job and got to visit friends. That's all good.

I am on one right now. Making my last preparations to go to PAX East.

It puts the crap inside the bag or it gets the hose again.

How do you take a vacation if you have been retired for 28 years?

What is this "vacation" you speak of?

Does visiting family out of state count? I guess so, it is still a vacation from work...but not a real vacation LOL

A 2-week vacation is tragically required for me. Not that I have anywhere to go...

T_T Oh, how I wish.
Aside from not having terribly much fundage to put towards that goal, moving deadlines don't play nice with plans for fun.

I'd like to, but I should probably save up for moving to the Seattle area later this year (hopefully). Too much sun and bugs in Florida.

Does going to a wedding in Ohio count? (I know it doesn't, but I'll take it where I can get it.)

For us it will be just day trips although we did go to the Great Wolf Lodge for 2 nights last month.

I will take time off work (use or lose) but I am not able to afford going anywhere.
