What is this vacation thing you're talking about Its been a couple years since my last one.
Taking two weeks in April, a week in May, a forced week in July, and Christmas week. We have not been this slow where I work in years and I am taking it while I can.
Yes - took time to visit friends in South America (summer break for them). However, the company only allows limited carryover of vacation days and lumps Vacation and sick days into one pile. (They don't tell anyone that until after you're hired - make it sound like all vacation time until you're locked in.) So, I start the year with NO personal days. Oh well ... I do have a job and got to visit friends. That's all good.
I am on one right now. Making my last preparations to go to PAX East.

Does going to a wedding in Ohio count? (I know it doesn't, but I'll take it where I can get it.) For us it will be just day trips although we did go to the Great Wolf Lodge for 2 nights last month.
