I've got a lot of red ink on my sheet, but still in the running for the cash. People get too hung up in wanting to get every single game right, which of course is impossible.
I had a friend that was rooting like crazy for Indiana last night, even though it was probably in his best interest for them to lose. Almost every one in our pool had Indiana winning that region, and he now has the only bracket with a team (Marquette) winning that region that is still alive. He was so focused on the single game, he couldn't see the big picture that while he "lost immediate points" with Indiana losing, nearly every other person in the bracket lost both "immediate points" and "future points".
