Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Why was Breakin' 2 in the list but not the original Breakin'?

A cameo by Jean-Claude Van Damme; what more could one ask for?

I have to say Dirty Dancing since we're not counting musical type like Grease...but Breakin' is still a favourite of mine and its weird 'cuz I was just thinking about that movie.

Breakin' 2 was way better than the first. The dancing across the walls & ceiling of the room was awesome for its time.

SNF? You mean the movie with the soundtrack where men sing like women (or castrati), and featuring John (Scientology is Real!) Travolta? Yuck!

"The Red Shoes?" I've heard it was good, but it's so old I haven't seen it.

The best I've seen was "The Turning Point."

When rich or powerful people propose a change, it is designed to make them richer or more powerful.

You simply can't leave out SNF whether you like it or not. I mean, DISCO fer crissakes.

Billy Elliot needs to be on this list, dancing, and heart wrenching.

I agree.

"Singing in the Rain" is great, but I don't consider that as a "dance movie". Sure there was dancing in it, but it wasn't *about* dancing, like the movies mentioned here.

Can't believe that no mention of America's first dance was made: Lindy Hop!

Check out this clip from Hellzapoppin', which had a ridiculous amount of some seriously crazy lindy hop in it:
