Why is Atlanta Hartsfield and Newark not included on this list?
designlucas wrote:Why? Atlanta airport is rockin'
For the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson is smooth as silk. Compare to other busy airports like O'Hare and LAX and you'll really appreciate the efficiency of ATL.
I fly in and out of O'hare all the time. No Problems there. The worst time i ever had was in Miami
Denver's Circus tent
Salt Lake City International Airport is by far the worst. Only been through there four or five times, and I've spent the night there twice for lateness/missed connections, etc. The other times I was running throught the terminal OJ style to make it to my connection.
Atlanta. Last time I was there the lines for security were several hundred people long, and not moving.

Pffft... You're kidding, right? I've missed my connection EVERY TIME I'VE FLOWN THRU ATLANTA. And not because I didn't run fast enough (OJ-style or otherwise): The air traffic, runway, & gate management is so poorly handled that you spend an hour or more circling in the sky or parked waiting for an available gate. My connecting flights were gone before I even got off my plane!
So there's been plenty of time to begin searching for alternate flights for affected passengers. But NOOO, the airline and airport staff seem surprised by the dozens of people who descend on them looking for answers and then act as if it's the travelers' fault.

Yep! I couldn't agree with you more!
Philly....wait, Newark. No Philly. Newark?
I second this
O'Hare, Atlanta and Houston. I hate all three of those airports with a passion.
They are all putrid. The worst possible way to travel is by flight.
DFW is a pretty decent airport, especially to get stuck in, as long as your employer is paying for your meals and drinks.
If I have a choice between Dulles and Washington National, I will fly into Baltimore. If that's not an option, then National. And that's what I call it.
flobob wrote:I hate flying thru Atlanta!!!!!
I take it that you have never flown through O'Hare. You need to be a marathon competitor to get from Concourse B to your connecting flight on Concourse F in a reasonable amount of time. Getting to connecting flights between terminals at ATL is a snap.
Atlanta, no contest.
I don't know how you can put JFK down without mentioning LaGuardia. Awful place.
ktappe wrote:I disagree with all those saying Philly. It's my home airport and is not that bad compared to others.
I don't suppose you've done too many connecting flights thru Philly. There may be a good reason why your experience differs from the rest of us.
Philadelphia is the worst, a light rain shower early in the day will set their schedule back 5 hours.
Any airport with TSA! I hated ATL, ORD, and DEN until 9/11, but they're all bad to get through now. Only thing worse is a layover in any Amtrak station!
Take it from an airline pilot...ORD is the worst.
My favorite? MSP!
PHL, Wind! Tornado! Hide!? i LOVE LAX!
Why was SeaTac even included on this list? It's a fine airport, as far as airports go.
Yeah, SEA makes no sense in this list. Excellent food choices, especially since they have to have the same pricing as outside, free wifi, decent shopping and great art.
Detroit's not bad, either. That fountain in the middle is great and can't go wrong with Wendy's in the middle!
MSP sucks, though. Horrible dank place with nothing good to eat.
Not to impressed with JFK. It's always so packed in awkward ways.
Chicago's okay. I'll take one of those hot dogs, mediocre as they are.
Atlanta is awful.
Haha, did you just add SeaTac to the list for Mathew? I can't imagine SeaTac being on a bad airport list for any other reason.
Miami - I really hate Miami!

San Diego... not enough booze in the terminals.
PHX. Maybe the nicest Airport in the world but try transferring airlines there.
Newark! I bet everyone travelling there can't wait for sunday!
If you speak english, Miami without a doubt.
Las Vegas... they lack any form of organization.
Picking people up is almost worse than flying out of there.
rainydz wrote:Minneapolis. Thought I'd have a heart attack between gates and I'm in decent shape.
I love MSP. It's my favorite airport if I have some time in between flights.
Newark International is my personal hell.
