No thanks. I haven't been able to justify buying a camera for a long time. I got my last camera from Woot, used it three times over a month, then sold it.

Next?

It's been 10 minutes and this is still at 100% inventory. This might take a while.

I know there is something to be said for having a good camera but for the casual user (me), the camera in my Galaxy S2 smartphone works great and I don't have to remember to bring a seperate device with me.

Looks cool, but the shutter lag is really bad, at nearly half a second that's in the same class as a cell phone camera. I think I'll pass on this one.

There must be a reason why there is no picture of the back.

Hummm, no image stabilization. That knocks it out for me.

This would absolutely be a deal-breaker for me, but the specs seem to claim otherwise:

"Fast drive enables the capture of decisive moments at a speed of 8 shots per second and a shutter speed of up to 1/4000th of a second."

Have you used this camera? If so, I would be very interested in your experiences with it. It seems like a good deal, but a long shutter lag would render it almost useless.

Not one view of the back of the camera?

Actually, it's the lack of a decent optical zoom that's the deal breaker for me. 2.5 optical? Really? My camera I carry around in my pocket does 4 times better than that.

And, as has been discussed, their own specs say shutter lag is .4 seconds. Close enough to half a second I wouldn't buy it.

Bought this camera the last time it was offered. I'm happy with the purchase, but as folks have mentioned, the shutter lag is a noticeable drawback. Wi-fi feature is a real plus in my opinion, no more fiddling with the memory card or cables to transfer pictures to my computer.

No EVF. (I'm old school - I don't like holding the camera at arm's length framing the pic in the flat display on the back.)
