Judge others much? How very mature and compassionate of you to ridicule those that cannot afford better.

3 stars (2 people) at A@You got a person that loves it and one that goes out of their way to trash ALL Toshibas with a 1 star rating. If it had a 17" or 19" screen rather, Id be in. I have seeing problems. I need a BIG screen. Even with glasses, or at least that will be the excuse why I buy a 65" tv for a monitor... ;)

Windows 8 blows - but does the Windows 8 license allow like the past licenses, installation of older operating systems?

Um no. Interface issues aside (of which there are plenty), windows 8 is spyware (tells big Micro of your activities) and you can't get Win8 software except through the Windows Store, meaning everything has to go through a draconian, expensive certification system.

You can, with a bit of hoop jumping, downgrade to Windows 7. However, hoop jumping.
