At the dawn of the 1990s, MTV had replaced radio as the world's pop kingmaker. By decade's end, they barely showed music videos at all. But along the way, it gave us moments like this: some awesome, some awful, but all hard to forget... OR WERE THEY?
Answers are here. Please post your guesses, speculations, or arguments below! But know this: the Trivial Eye is presented for public amusement and no prizes are offered other than that familiar feeling of aggravation that so much of your mind is occupied by useless trivia.
Other swinging classics on the Trivial Eye hit parade include 80s Music Videos, 90s CD Covers, Fake Bands, and 90s Movies Based on Old TV Shows.
Guess I was an MTV junky, because I knew all of these, Artist and Song. Long live the music video!
Is that Christopher Walken in Pic #2? If it is then I do know the video!
Here's a little trivia on top of this trivia... The Weezer "Buddy Holly" video was included on the installation CD for Windows95. It was there with one or two other full-length music videos as demo videos for Windows Media Player.
So there you go! Now if your internet is broken and you can find your old Win95 CD, you can still watch that video over and over again!
1. Beastie Boys - Sabatoge
2. Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice
3. Beck - Loser
4. TLC - Waterfalls
5. Hanson... not sure what video though. :P
6. Weezer - Buddy Holly
7. Dr. Dre - Gin & Juice(?)
8. Green Jello (Jelly?) - 3 Little Piggies
