It should be (5+5+11)^3. I got 13 for the oil consumption rank at first but I think that was actually oil production rank.

I need an ally or something to get these parts faster. I get the answer most of the time, but just too darn slow.

At the suggestion of mods, posting here may get you crap still if there are errors. Who knows if this will be one of em. I think I was one of first 2.

Dang! Woot has turned into Publishers Clearing House. Try to engage us in wasting so much time here playing the games that we might buy stuff along the way. I forgot all day that there was a wootoff going on...that never used to happen.

Clues: (States that start with "M" ) * (Floor # in "Being John Malkovich") ^ (Members of Ben Folds 5)

So that would be (8)*(7.5)^3
Which would be 8 * 421.875
Which would be 3375

The cubing of 7.5 should have happened before the multiplication of 8.

Ah, yes, I agree. Sorry, I was only looking at the last clue which had double parenthesis.

Unfortunately in the flurry of double checking my math, I don't really post until I figure the jig is up. This was a least complicated version. Now the one about hypothetical jesus birth in fortnights.. Yeah, I had time to post on that one because we were all confused.

Actually, this is not as intense as the Crapword last time for some reason. Perhaps because we knew the answer in advance for some of them?

The former. For example, the most recent clue had

Can't seem to get the one after that w/Babe Ruth either. 1919^5? I suck at sports stats. Tried ^6 tried too. Nada.

I had a much better chance of scoring one at work....dual monitors, a mouse, speedy servers, nothing but time. But, alas, now at home...one monitor, no mouse, Charter crappy Internet, and two needy children. Sigh.
