Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

7 girls on a bus being driven to school
each girl has 7 bags
for each bag there are 7 big cats
for every big cat there are 7 little cats
how many legs are in the bus?

Buses don't have legs!
They have wheels!

(7 girls*2 legs/girl)+(7 girls*7 bags/girl){(7 Bcats/bag)[(4 legs/Bcat)+(7 Lcats/Bcat*4 legs/Lcat)]}
+(1 driver*2 legs/driver)

Simple

10,992 legs

Not to nit-pick but you said in the bus. Should that not be on the bus?

If so:

16 legs, 7 girls and the driver, there's no way a bus is being driven anywhere with that many cats.

I'm pretty damn good. Majored in chemistry, minored in math. Chemist by profession.

But boy did i SUCK in anything involving history, English, ect. I can't spell worth a crap either.

I hate when people say you'll never need algebra. I use it all the time!

I'm also an engineer, so the math is pretty high up there, but I also got a minor in english. I like to keep both sides of the grey matter active.

I thought about being an engineer but decided i didn't want to work that hard so I became an accountant. I remember my SAT score for Math becuase I got every question right. My reading score in comparison was so much lower I was recommended for special reading classes.

Anything lower than differential equations I'm fantastic at. I got an A in DE, but I can't claim to have learned anything.

But I am the QUEEN of calculus!

I thought I sucked at math (and hated it with the fury of 1000 suns) for most of my education, until I finally got past computational math and into conceptual math. That's when I discovered that what I really suck at (and hate) is calculation. Math is fine as long as the focus is on knowing how to get the answer rather than on actually getting the answer.

Be patient. Good things come to those who Woot.
