I used the keyboard for 2hrs, worked great! I downloaded and updated the firmware, the lights went out on the keyboard, updater sat there for an hour...
Now its a brick!

Now, I have to go thru the RMA process and all the other b.s. after researching why. Not how I want to spend my Saturday.

20130622T1911 Update: After having to spend some time on Saturday researching, I found a gem that fixed my firmware issues. Simply holding down the 'FN' key while inserting the usb connector allowed me to get the device recognized. (Note I only had Synapse 2.0 installed)
Next issue: the '8' key on the numeric number keypad is DOA.
