Bumping this for those that missed it the first time around.

While CS will try to help you cancel an order, we release orders multiple times during the day so they may not be able to do so.

And PMing a forum moderator doesn't do any good whatsoever. We have no powers in that department.

Pro Tip: When placing orders ANYWHERE, double check your address!

I ordered a Kershaw pocket knife and didn't realize I had the wrong shipping address. The shipping address that was put in, had shipping restrictions. I didn't realize this and now it is too late to cancel. I got an email saying my item was shipped but when I click on tracking info, it says "Not Found". This was 3 days ago and I still see the "not found" message from USPS. What do I do? Did the item get shipped? Did it not? I see the item is available again, but I don't want to order it again if the first one was shipped. Thanks for any help!!

Best bet is to email support@woot.com. My guess is that the order will ultimately get canceled but they'll know for sure. Just be sure to explain it clearly.

I'm sorry but the order is already released (not necessarily shipped). You can email support@woot.com for some options.

I have emailed support multiple times and still cannot get a valid response! This is so frustrating!!! Worst customer service ever!! Whoever thought good customer service is through email only needs to rethink the process. I would like to talk to someone on the phone, it would make the resolution a lot quicker than waiting for a response through email. When the response isn't what you are looking for, it takes another day to get a different answer and maybe it's what you were looking for and in my case it has not been!!!!

What you're seeing is most likely the AUTHorization charge. That drops off automatically in a couple days when the real charge doesn't come through. The time that takes depends on your bank.

Well, first off, let's be clear: you can't undo at all during Woot-Offs or when you've used expedited shipping in any way, shape or form. But if you wanna stop a plain Jane regular-style order… well, you'd better hurry, because you only get 15 minutes to tell us to stop.

Yes, being able to cancel is great. Why just last week when I was chasing the WootSquatch I forgot I had something else in my cart when I was trying to buy a Bacon Onion Casserole. I accidentally bought it (the other item - not the Cowboys on Broncos... it was sold out already), with the shipping address set to the wrong place.

So happy one can now cancel.
Saved me some heartache.

Crap. It took me 30 minutes to find this information. Especially since nothing confirmed my address before I placed the order, and it occurred to me that I moved four months ago.

Ugh. And now it's the weekend, so I probably won't get this fixed before Monday. I might have to go camp out at my old condo just to intercept the driver.

Changing addresses should be enabled for a longer window - I highly doubt you released and shipped my purchase at 11pm on a Friday. :-/

if you contact fedex and tell them you don't want the package they'll reroute it back to woot at the next hub it hits

During woot-offs we don't have the cancel option. Sorry. :/

CLARIFICATION: TT pointed out that I missed a couple details. Orders with woot-off items or items with expedited shipping can't be canceled. Sorry for the vague info!

CS doesn't make changes to orders. You can self cancel in the first 15 minutes. There's a link to instructions in my signature.

CS will get back to you with other options, if available.

I'm in the same boat, trying to cancel an inadvertent duplicate order, but missed the elusive 15-minute cancel window by exactly 5 minutes. Haven't heard from CS yet either. I'm perplexed that the first order went through because I got the message about taking too long to check out and the Woot mob grabbing my stuff. I checked and all the stuff I ordered was still in stock, so I just made a new cart with the exact same items and checked out again. Big mistake.

Ok so for the record they just got back to me. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done any more. I'm to contact the shipper and see if I can tell them to not bother and send the item back. If its USPS (you can't stop them) I'm to mark it as return to sender and have them return it back. I'm glad they got to me so quickly. I'm just sad I didn't cancel it in time. That said I'm glad this feature is in there. I've never had to cancel anything with woot before and don't plan to.

Better yet, GET WITH THE PROGRAM on CS! Too short of time to cancel. Sent email to wife and went into an appointment - NO TIME to get on and cancel when I found out we had what we needed already.. I did not realize how archaic Woot was on Customer Support.. My item has not shipped, I should be able to cancel it.. BAD POLICY ALL AROUND. Very poor Customer Service. I blog, post, and speak to thousands of people on Support.. this goes in the bad category...

We release orders shortly after the 15-minute self-cancel time is up. Once it's released, it's mixed in with hundreds or thousands of other orders. We just don't have the man power to stop everything to find a single order to cancel. The order could have been released to our warehouse, an Amazon warehouse, or a vendor.

I know it's sounds easy but it's not.
