Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Oh boy, let the comments roll. I think Gaffigan still has it, and John Mulaney is damned amazing. He is a proud Asian-American woman and you will treat him with respect! Rickles will be doing a show nearby next month, pretty sure I'll have to go that.

Pardon me, would you have any bags of crap?

Lenny Bruce. (Good grief....these contemporary 'comics' don't have the wit or humor that Bruce had while exhaling.)

The only one I'm even familiar with is Sarah Silverman and I don't find her particularly funny. Her best work IMO was on Star Trek Voyager. LOL.

Going from the list, I'm torn between Maria Bamford, Tig Notaro and
Ralphie May; but I think it's on the style of comedie.

Sarah Silverman has funny moments, but overall won't make it as an all time great comic.

out of list, Eddie Izzard probably :P

I agree with the Russel Peters and Louis CK Comments. However, I'll go with Lil' Jimmy Norton.

Aziz and Jim Gaffigan are both incredible. As is Mike Birbiliography. But I've had the pleasure of seeing Demitri Martin live, and he was fantastic.

triplebud

Seriously? Are you guys kidding with this list?

A. Louis CK
B. Bill Burr
C. Jim Norton
D. Aziz Ansari
E. Iliza Shlesinger
F. Joe Rogan (not just for comedy)
G. Patrice O'Neil (RIP)
H. That guy with the puppets
I. Sarah Silverman
J. Jeff Ross
K. Lisa Lampanelli
L. Artie Lange
M. Kathy Griffin
N. Bryan Regan

All working (besides Patrice) and could be considered "all-time great" depending on your comedy style. Even this list is lacking...
