I own one of these and i am not very impressed by its performance

Well, a Roomba for this price is awesome, and the added convenience pack is a sweet treat.

nice price but I have holes larger that the device in the floor that it would fall in and break..

i already have one, and even with the virtual wall, it still falls down the stairs all the time

umm nice if you live in something bigger than my 10' by 10' dorm, I get the vacuum @ 11:30 am or pm monday and wednesday

Next to the Scooba, the Roomba is the best product in the world. I'd buy one if I didn't already last time Woot had it. You all should BUY IT!!!!

Tempting, but these things are more "fad" than reliable in my opinion. I guess there's always tomorrow.

We have one of those already... The Dogs hate it... must say though... its not loud like most of the vacs out there.... and it auto cleans once you give the order.... sweet....

I really think that mine sucked up my gerbil. Didn't think it was that powerful, I mean, gee golly.

I saw this thing on Jay Leno........its pretty cool

I'd like to have one of these but not for sure if it's worth the money in comparison to a normal upright, non remote vacuum. Heard a lot about them tho.

Brought MOM roomba years ago. Great for Low pile carpet or hardwood/tile floors. Might need one for the dorm room....

Absolutely love mine! Got it here, refurbished - haven't had a minute's trouble and it works great. Unfortunately I have the bad habit of following it around because it's so cute.......

Everyone should own a Roomba.... I bought the discovery when it went up here last time... its still kicking so refurbs arnt so bad... Its neat to just turn it on when I leave and its back in the dock when I come back. It does a much better job than I was expecting, but strains a lot on thick carpet. I just hope Woot finds some refurbished replenish kits cause I could use some more filters and maybe a brush or something ::

Your sensor underneath the Roomba is probably dirty. Give it a good cleaning, and it'll work great. We've never had any problem with ours. It was a refurbished discovery model from the last time they were up. Yay Woot!

If you are planning on using this item to pick up fur, Don't! I bought mine with a 3 year policy. Luckily, they replace it without question. I am on my 5th and it has not even been a year. The fur ruins the system. If you want it to pick up dirt, it is an excellent product.

I have the Discovery Roomba adn its great! It picks up tons of dog hair and lots of dirt! I am tempted to buy this one just so I have an extra.

Anyone know the difference between this one and the white Discovery one??

I got one last time. It worked great for a month and then gave out. Called Roomba and they were really helpful. They sent me another one and it is great. I have no complaints.

I own a Discovery SE and bought my mom the Disco listed in my swag below.

Roombas are incredibly helpful! I use mine daily to keep the crumbs and dog fur under control. I set it, leave for work, and come back to a clean kitchen and den. These are a must-have!

Yes, when its battery is low, it starts looking for the docking station and puts itself away. Cool.

I have a wife, and this makes her a happier one. No, it doesn't vibrate.

NOTE - like when you buy it on eBay, the warranty is not valid. Someone correct me if they find out otherwise, but - not buying it from the authorized dealer (iRobot.com or Bed/Bath/Beyond, etc) doesn't give you the warranty coverage.
