I love this mop! I picked it up on the last offering I've used my mom's Haan before and hated that is left a ton of water on my wood floors after cleaning. This mop on the wood setting is just perfect. Our whole house is wood and linoleum so it is definitely nice having this thing over a normal mop/bucket to lug around.

A couple notes. The first time I used it, it left a film on the floor. It turns out we have hard water, so I have to use filtered water in it which isn't a big deal since we always have RO water on hand for the fish tanks. I read comments from people saying they use the water from their fridge in hard water areas. If you don't have a filtered water source and live in a hard water area this WILL leave a film on your floors and you will need to buy filtered water somewhere which might be a hassle, so you are warned. Also, I have to refill the reservoir several times even for a small room. I wish it was a bit bigger to avoid having to refill, but you can refill with the unit on and it only takes about 15 second to heat back up again. I haven't had a chance to use the little corner wand yet, so I can't comment on it.

I am going to buy a couple extra pads so I can do the whole house if I want to. Wash them on delicate without softener and a low tumble dry. I've done this three times now and the pads still look perfect.

Signatures are harshing my mellow.

Ok first I am shocked that 69.99 is a Sale price. I work for the stanley and since the day it was released it was 69.99 from stanley.

Second, the handle is flimsy and snaps easy. I have had two since I can get them a a good discount(25.00) and the handle snaps in half and feels wobbly at all times. It is a bad handle design. I actually went back to using Shark.

I picked up one of these on the last Woot offering and really do like it. I found that after using, the floor was not nearly as wet as it was with my other mop and not having to use soap also meant no problems with soap residue. I found assembly to be fairly simple and it has a smaller footprint that my old mop and bucket so it is a lot friendlier on the crowded laundry room. Even without soap, it does a good job cleaning.

I've used this on tile and ceramic. I may also order a few additional pads from Amazon after the holidays.

what happened to the snow blower???

I have the older version of this, the FSM1600. It works well while it works, but it's doomed to fail soon for design flaws. Hopefully this newer version addressed them.

We snapped three handles already with normal use. It looks like the handle design is slightly different. Hopefully they fixed the problem.
Also, there is a brass flow reducer near the heating element that gets easily clogged with lime, so that it will eventually stop steaming. It's relatively easy to clean if you know that, but there no mention of that in the manual. Hopefully this also has been addressed.

If you want to read tons of complains about the older model, you check for example http://www.topix.com/forum/com/bdk/T9B0P7NJV8C047P2I

No Woot Off YO.

The Snow Blower offered earlier today sold out extremely quickly.

We figured once you guys were done making snow trails with the blower, you might want to mop and clean your floors from tracking in all that snow?
