I agree. Cell phones are not being represented fairly in the movies. They rarely get the lead role, and heaven forbid if they are an older model. Only the latest, snazzy ones get the call. Plus there is the media pressure to be slimmer and slimmer. I remember when it was ok for a cell to be so big a person couldn't carry it. Now, razor, well the name says it all. The self confidence and body issues this is creating in the general cell phone population is underrated!

Funny you should mention this...my friend called tonight and she told me her 12 year old cat has a tumor under her tongue and can't eat dry food, etc...The vet said that even if a surgeon were to remove the tumor, the cat may fail to eat or may have cancer elsewhere. He recommended putting her down. She has to make an appointment next week to do it. She was saying she wanted to be there to pet her head as she was being euthanized. I told her that would freak me out a bit. Say the cat hissed or made some odd bodily movement etc...that's what you'd remember forever. Or atleast that's what I would remember forever...

So, since we can say pretty much anything to one another without fear of repercussions, I asked her if she was going to get a new kitty. She said, "yes." I said, "Are you getting a kitten?" (Because I would.) She said, "No, I want a cat that has an old soul." I told her to look on craigs.list.

No. She lives between me (a coastal gal) and blue in Western Mass...out near Bellingham/Franklin...just before Worcester.
