Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist?
Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed.
For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?
I voted "tap", but I need to add a caveat: Depends on where your tap is. I tried drinking tap water when I first got to LA and immediately regretted it. Blech.
direct from the spring
Reverse osmosis and filtered.
The ones that have been purified and then have minerals added for taste, like Sparklets, Dasani, and Kirkland brand.
I have a filter on my tap that filters water through minerals. For something more than plain water I keep a pitcher in the fridge that I add sliced lemons, mint leaves and honey to.
My dog says the best drinking water is from the toilet!
Before I moved it was straight from the tap but now that my tap water comes out looking like milk more than half the time filtered it is.
Deionized. Only the best for science.
Mountain Spring Water every week I collect 500 gallons to drink right from the spring it self
Rainwater and whisky.

I would like water produced by fuel cells. Pure H2O.

Before or after?
Municipal water is heavily regulated and is tested daily. Sometimes several times a day. Unless bottled water is sold outside the state it came from it is unregulated. Watch the documentary Tapped sometime. They selected several random brands off grocery store shelves for testing and found that the majority were contaminated with things like benzine, diesel, fecal material, insecticides etc.
The best water is Aquafina! foreva and eva
Water from a good, deep well. Water that has not seen the light of day in potentially thousands of years is tasty, my friends.
The best water is straight out of the Florida aquifer in my back yard. I don't really drink any other water.
The best to drink is right from a freshwater spring.
Filtered. Back home, tap water was plenty fine, but in the new digs, what the city pumps to us is smelly, dirty river water. Good thing my landlord fitted a reverse-osmosis filter.
Really? I'm the first? How shockingly disappointing.
Fine - Water with hops, malt, and yeast.
Well water where I grew up was great. There's an artesian well near here that I used to fill up on before doing large jobs out of town. That was great.
The best water I use to drink was from the fountain machine at my first job. It was always very crisp and clean.
You've got my vote!
pulled from the mississippi and brewed with hops and grain to make Budweiser.
I said tap, but I meant water hose. yum...
Yeah, I'm with the first post and it's all about where your tap is. AND often times the time of year. There are times of the year, Spring and Autumn, when I taste more chlorine in the water. I'm currently in a living situation where there's a filtered water tap on the fridge - awesome.
The water in Iceland is by far the best I have ever tasted. So crisp and clean. So good.
St. Louis tap water.
Colorado tap water. I like that all streams flow away from my town. It makes it easy to tell who is drinking the recycled water.
If you want a bad water, try Phoenix tap water in the summer. 95 degrees and funky.
+1 for well water. The deeper the better.
Directly out of the mouth of the spring.
Straight from the tap, but I live in the country and my well draws from the same aquifer as an Ozarka bottling plan near here...
Bottled water tastes best. But, depending where you live, tap water can taste fine and is a heck of a lot cheaper. Tap was great for me in FL, I'm now in OK and can't stand the tap here. :-(
And while we're on this yarn, the WalMart Great Value Brita filter knockoffs are TERRIBLE. Just FYI for anyone with a Brita. lol
