Happy Music Monday! If you didn't notice Woot Tools & Garden turns one today! Scott was feeling lazy thought it would be fun to pick out his favorite tool, garden and automotive songs. He encourages you to do the same to make it look like this was a good idea. HERE'S THE FIRST ONE NOW

Queen - Hammer To Fall

A hammer is the tool most people think of first. Queen is the band most people love. They're a natural fit, aren't they? Seems like it to me.

More T&G love coming up inside. See you after the jump!

Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench

While not as popular as a hammer, a wrench is often one of the most needed tools… because you can't fake your way out of needing a wrench. A hammer? Sure, just use a shoe! Screwdriver? Get a penny, maybe! A wrench? Not gonna weasel out of needing that tool. Unless you've got the grip of a titan.

War - Low Rider

Tools, of course, aren't ONLY for fixing stuff around the house. Gearheads need tools too! And I dare you to find one true car lover who doesn't enjoy this classic War song. It's like it's MADE for driving around town.

Rick Nelson - Garden Party

Hey, a garden doesn't belong to the world. It belongs to the person who puts the time and effort into it. Don't grow it for them. Grow it for you.

The Housemartins - Build

It doesn't matter if you're a fan of growing plants, fixing the car, or working with tools, the whole point is the same. You wanna build. It's just plain human nature.

Happy Birthday, Woot Tools & Garden! Let us also just remind you: some images come from the corresponding Wikipedia page and are here under fair use. See you next week.

MC Hammer - Can't Touch This (Hammer Time)

It's probably hard to use a hammer that you can't touch, but if said hammer doesn't stop, it might be a good tool.

You can bet Johnny Cash used some tools when he built it "One Piece at a Time"

Also, if you pretend that tools.woot is named Dan and is 27, you can have Tool sing you happy birthday! (NSFW language - they say a-hole)

It's time for a Cardigan's Garden Party (much cooler than a Ricky Nelson garden party)

DOH! How could I have forgotten one of my favorites!

And not to turn this into a tractor festival or anything, but...

Well, if it's a tractor festival all of a sudden:

In the automotive category, I submit Hot Rod Lincoln, not the original Commander Cody version, but a Pat Travers version that is my favorite and always makes me want to drive 110 mph:
