Picked up this on the regular WOOT last week. Works great as a POTS cordless and answering machine, but won't maintain a bluetooth connection with either of out two mobile phones. So Meh.

I've learned my lesson about buying refurbed phones. The batteries usually crap out after 6 months or so. They'll keep a charge off of the dock for maybe half a day or so, even with very little use.

If the lights are a'flashin', the Woot-Off's in action!

the point of these phones is that you can change the batteries with AAA NiMH, which are dirt cheap compared to old ni-cad packs.

The reason I don't buy replacement batteries on my old phones is that at $10-$12 a pop, eventually replacing 4 or 5 of them would cost more than the cost of the whole phone set.
