So what is the line on this selling out before the 12hr limit?

The over/under would be how many units they had...

Well they have more than 10% to go in less than 2 hours. I think it'll be close enough not to make much of a difference.

Now think hard guys, it's moved about 1/12 every hour. Pixal boy, check the count.....

Hmm, to drop from 40 to 30 it took half an hour. But only 2 minutes from 30 to 20. If it keeps up this pace, it should be done by now.

Since we are all sitting here waiting, I have a new topic...First of all, I have always admitted that I'm not a geek....and have often relied on the kindness of strangers (er, GEEK strangers)...So I will also say up front that I just wasn't thinking, when I did this---Now I need HELP!.....OK, here is the deal...I purchased a 2 disc DVD of an old TV show (remember Northern Exposure?)...and they are the kind of discs that have shows on the flip side of each...but the manufacture didn't label the side, so you can't tell if you are watching side 1,2,3,or 4...So, I took a Sharpie marker and marked on the FACE of the DVD--thinking its like a computer CD, which you can write---YUP, I know that DOESN"T work! Now that disc freezes when you reach where I marked and says "geez, you idiot, there is a scratch on the DVD"....I only marked one disc (side 1 &2) fortunately....So HELP me Woot-geeks!!!! Is there anything I can do to remove the ink marks and save the DVD???

Test this on one of those extra clear discs you get when you buy cd's...Orange-solve will remove permanent marker without disolving the plastic. The foil layer is sandwiched so no worries there, just don't melt the plastic :D

You can try and take some rubbing alcohol and see if it comes off with that...

You can try something like CD-Doctor, a CD buffering thing. They are about $30 at Wal-Mart and will gently buff out any scratches on any CD's or DVD's. Don't know if it will help with this, but it is a decent investment even if it doesn't work.

And, to help you out, you can write on the little lip just around the inside of the hole in the middle. It's not much room and if you have bad eye sight, maybe making one mark on side 1, two marks across from each other on side two, three marks at about 120 degrees apart for 3 and 4 marks at 90 degrees for side 4. Just a thought.

Yup, like everyone else said, rubbing alcohol first, and if that doesn't work, maybe invest in a Disc Doctor cleaning tool.

A lot of times, those discs will be labelled, but you have to squint to see it. It's usually on the inner ring of the DVD, in kind of tiny print.

Go to your local eyeglass store and buy the lens cleaners that are like premoistened towlettes. Try one of those with a little pressure. That is what I use to remove perminant marker from things such as lexan. They smell like rubbing alcohol, but it's not. It may be some fashion of denatured alcohol, so if you have some of that lying around, you can give that a try as well.

I wonder I know you...
Anyway,
the data is still there, the plastic that you wrote on is just a transparent layer. You just need to get rid of the ink without damaging the optical trasparency. I would say alcohol could be a last resort only. Did you try using a toothpaste to clean it. But don't be too hard on the marks, otherwise you might damage the clear layer...

yes, it's typical of a woot-off to slow down the warehouse considerably.
