Wow! I wooted on 01/23 for the San Disk Memory Sticks and I already got my tracking number for that. I scrolled down my email hoping I would get my Casio Waveceptor tracking number. Nothing. Perhaps it's a problem with the distributers of the watch???

Simply goto www.fedex.com, click on "Track by Reference" and then enter your order number, originating country, and destination zip code.

still no sign of tracking. I e-mailed service@woot.com, but got no response. The e-mail was set at 2:40pm CST. I guess they go home early. It's not looking good for repeat business from Woot on this one.

I did the Track by Reference at FedEX. It says it left FedEX Huston at 8pm on 1/25. It is supposed to deliver on 1/31.
Woot still does not tell me it has shipped.

Guys, please post here if you too have problems with your watch. I am not so much upset with Woot, as I understand things can't always ship to me like I am royalty or something. But Casio customer support today was CLUELESS and said I have to pay shipping back to them, I can't even use plain old mail, it has to be registered or whatever.

Woot has kindly replied with great courtesy.

I spent several hours playing with the watch on and off during my day to see if I could get it to free up, even gently tapping it, just slightly, mind you. What wasn't working on it and is still buggy is that the watch came "uncalibrated" positionally. You see, your setting digitally/logically has to agree with where the hands are, and my hands were way off. After reading the manual three times and talking to the joke of tech support at Casio (I had to explain the instructions to the support agent there, HE was confused!!), and laid the watch down, made some tea and cooled off. An hour later, after tapping it a little and repeatedly following the same proper procedures, the two hands, the hour and minute hand, finally started turning. But then would only adjust to "home" in the fast sweep mode, not the increment by increment mode. That kept me from getting them right at 12 as it is next to impossible to time when you let go and it stops at the 12 o'clock position. I spent another half hour (yeah, stubborn me!, I really need a watch!) and I finally got the incremental adjustment of all three hands.

I don't know if mine will stay working or not though. I will "watch it" (no pun intended) to see how it behaves for the next few days. Hopefully, Woot will consider a nicer watch next time they offer a Casio. It's a neat idea, even if it is ugly (like I have said, I am that typical dork with NO fashion sense), but if they ship broken, what good are they? If they are so cheap as to malfunction this way, that is, maybe they aren't worth selling? I don't know, just asking.

Any of you who are determined like me that see this same problem with the hands not positioning properly: Keep trying, it might take hours of fuddling, it did for me, but it seemed to help, though I am not sure it is permanent.

None now, I would be lucky to get in and out of a back seat. Point being made was, I haven't been teased like this in over 35 years. By the way, I did get a tracking number. After reading all the post from wooters that have received theirs, I can see why they may have been late.

Found my order using the order number. Due to arrive Jan. 30. That's really very poor performance, Woot. This was my first purchase - not a great experience. I can't really say it will necessarily be my last, but I sure won't be very quick to buy on a whim, when I know chances are good that it will be 1) defective; and/or 2) late. I can understand that the "best laid plans of mice and men....", etc., but I would expect a responsible vendor to provide a comprehensive explanation. I'll bet they've lost a LOT of potential business from this fiasco. And yes, it is a fiasco.

If you haven't received an email yet, there should be more going out this morning with tracking information.

Received my watch via FedEx yesterday....never got a tracking number so everyone should be getting their's today or tomorrow. If anyone figures out how to remove links from the band please let me know!

That's what I thought. So if there's no info, that means it hasn't been sent yet. How disappointing.

Works fine so far. Thick manual that isn't the best. Was able to set it up for my time zone and it "set" itself...pretty cool. Has a nice look, but pretty cheap.... plastic case back, etc. Can't wear it until I figure out how to remove links.

Still waiting on some sign that this watch is going to ship. I don't like the fact that the cash was taken immediately, most online purchases they don't charge your account until the item ships. This was supposed to be a little spontaneous surprise for hubby... by the time it comes in he will have bought a watch somewhere else!

Got my tracking number by e-mail, I had to ask for it. My status is still "your order is in". I also did the Alternate tracking method and that worked as well.

Now mine is just sitting in Hutchings, Texas. It's been there for a couple of days, now. I wish I could take back my order and get a refund. I'm not even looking forward to getting this watch now. Maybe I'll give it to a neighborhood kid or something.

Ordered Casio watch on Jan 18; have not received it yet as of Jan 26. anybody else in the same boat as me?

Likewise.

I ordered on Jan 18. Have heard nothing. Checked FedEx Track by Reference - nothing there either. This was my first Woot and I am very disappointed. I was considering ordering the Roomba today if I had heard something, but I will pass

My first woot. Perhaps my last. Still no shipment notification or tracking number on FedEx after 8 days. I ordered an Ipod gen2 shuffle just before x-mas direct from Apple - it was custom engraved, shipped from CHINA, and arrived on my doorstep in three days. Woot, you're no Apple. . .

Where art thou woot - why do you foresake thee?

WHERE IS MY WATCH!!! Some kind of communication would be nice! I have checked woot and fedex no status change. Is this a woot problem or a casio problem?

Still waiting here too. I was able to track by reference number as well, but I'm also seeing that it's stuck in Hutchins, TX. I have not received any kind of email from Woot since I made the purchase and my account is still saying "Your order is in."

This was my first woot after lurking for over a year. I'm totally poor and I used some extra money left over from Christmas to buy this. I'm starting to think that I just threw that money away. I think I am done with woot. I have a real job, so I can't stay up until 1am to see the next day's woot and I always miss out on the good stuff worth buying anyway.

Goodbye woot. Once my watch gets here I'm deleting Woot from my bookmarks. You are dead to me now.

I have yet to receive a response from Woot regarding my purchase. My credit card was charged for this purchase, but there has been no action taken by them in reference to this order since. I've checked FedEx.com to track by reference, and my "shipment" has been picked up, but has not left HUTCHINS, TX in over 24 hours now.

In my books, this is a scam.

If I don't receive a reply email or status update on my order by in the morning, I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau in Dallas TX to file a complaint.

Mine works fine. Like Wademac I can't figure out how to remove links from the band.

There's some little arrows stamped into the back of the band and I've poked around them trying to get something to move and I've tried pushing the pin back and forth but can't get the thing apart to remove links.

Take the watch to a watch repair or jeweler...they should be able to remove extra links in no time with little or no charge.

The trick to the links is to us a tiny punch and hammer to drive the pins in the direction of the arrow.

You need a 1/32nd of an inch punch or smaller.

I had to remove 3 links and am by no means a dainty fellow.

But I can now tell you with atomic accuracy that the next Woot is NOW.

Well, you see I'm DIY oriented to a fault. The only reason I don't do my own front end alignments is I can't afford thousands of dollars worth of Hunter alignment rack.

You're better than me...i'd probably destroy the watch if I tried.

Well, I did obliterate one pin and scratch up one link pretty badly but I won't be needing them.

Oh and managed to drop the watch once too. It seems OK though.

OK, once again...the Woot was on the 18th, 5 business days takes you to the 25th. At that point
fed
ex shows it was picked up, from that point on it is in FedEx's hands NOT WOOTS! We live in such a "want and have to have it NOW age! QUIT THE gd WHINING!

After sending an email to the service@woot complaining about the delay, my watch was overnighted. Yesterday my watch also showed to be in Hutchings but was deliverd to my doorstep about midday.
It works fine but I need a link taken out. I wish they would explain how to do that in the instructions booklet. I really dont want to spend any more money on this watch. But I guess that isnt an option.
I have bought over 20 items on Woot and this is the first time I had to pester them in order to get the item. This purchase went so poorly it will make me think twice about buying again.

Bought this on the 18th, wasn't shipped til the 25th. This is my first purchase from Woot in a long time. Is a week delay normal nowadays? If so, it'll be my last woot. Also, anyone needing to remove links from the band can go to www.webjeweller.com/jewellery/removelinks.shtml . Good instructions with pics there.

If you take the watch to a walmart or target jewelry department they will usually take a link out of it for you for free. They have fancy tools but they are'nt usually too inteligent.

I wish I had my watch so I could worry about things like that for myself
