Also on anouther topic: Do the Random Craps show up on the little "how many woots" box. I have seen at least three people trash talk there craps but they have no purchases. Is that possable??

Craps do show up, but sometimes people have more than one account and make the purchase under another name.

You are AWESOME! But I can't believe our fully stocked battery drawer is out of AAAs. Guess it's a trip to the store for me tomorrow, lol. Thanks for the info!

The saddest thing about the decent BoCs that I got, is that that silly document puck thingy was the most handy thing in that entire box... more so then the phone i got, which works fine (i think... haven't seen any probs... its probably a referb/return from some big corporate chain like Wallyworld or Target....)

Pen, Puck, Bag, Laser
And Pre-Owned CD Player
In my Bag O' Crap

Note, my obligatory Samsonite camera bag wasn't actually the one it looks like most people got. Mine was a fairly sizeable one, designed for either a video camera, or a large still camera with a spare lense. It's very nice.

My three craps were delayed 2 days due to crappy weather in the DC area.

-Samsonite bag- large, I guess
-Pesudo-working Virgin Pulse 2.4ghz cordless phone with answering machine and everything, including snooty british chick voice. Except the phone doesn't seem to accept calls. Plus I already have a phone with like twice the ghz.
-Bill Blass pen set (red)
-Wooden rubberband gun
-pack of 7 rubber bands

Thanks Woot- I probably told over a dozen people about this crap

The only downer is that the roomba didn't come with a power supply...any ideas on where to get one without having to wait on shipping?

If it were me, I'd get the power supply from iRobot. But an electronics store will probably have one that would work. Specs:

Input: 120VAC 60Hz .6A 33w
Output: 22VDC 1.25A

Get as close to that as possible.

Got my Bandolier of Carrots Wednesday:

2 Virgin CD/FM players (1 works perfectly, one DOA)
1 pair of (decent) Sony headphones (replacing missing earphones from 1 CD player)
mini camcorder bag (Samsonite)
Pub cooler (Thermos)
red thong
red silk rose
2 keychains (one wonderfully disgusting cow-poop)
4 packs throw-bombs (supposed to explode on impact - haven't tested yet)

All in all, a pretty good Valentine's Day Bandolier of Carrots!

I just hope the thong is not a refurb (rox0rz!).

ORDER # 20967932

I am inquiring about the above order for a Roomba placed on Jan. 30th and per FedEx, this order has in fact NEVER SHIPPED.

A label for a FedEx tracking # 069537847090237 was printed by Woot but
no product was ever sent to FedEx for shipping.

Can't seem to get a reply through service @ woot... trying

My Bandolier of Carrots has been lost by FedEx.

FedEx: "What was in the package, and what was the value?"

Me: "It's a box of crap? How can you put a value on crap?"

(seriously - I've emailed service@woot.com. what are the odds that they keep track of what they put in my order number so that I can place a value on the package?)

I would say to not chance it and get a third party charger. Go with the one from iRobot, bite the bullet and wait for it to arrive. NiMh batteries like the ones in the Roomba can be dangerous if not charged with a proper charger, especially doing quick charging. You could end up exploding the batteries or burning down your house and it's just not worth it. Unless you happen to have a computer controlled multi charger for RC stuff, get the one designed for it.

FedEx lies and says they attempted delivery when I know that they haven't. How do they get away with this.

Anyone else have this problem: A delivery exception saying you weren't home when in fact you were there eager to open the door to your bag of krap. They usually occur at later times in the day. I think it means that 5:30pm hit, and the driver decided to call it a night, and scanned all his remaining deliveries as exceptions.

Thanks for the power supply help. I was tempted to try to make some non-irobot adapter work (the challenge/relatively low price were tempting,) but I decided to pick up a used irobot PS on ebay. I figured that I got an effing roomba for $8 (thanks woot,) and I was probably justified in spending $25 (w/ shipping) to keep the thing going.

Random aside: I really enjoy telling people the story of my surprise roomba. It has less to do with me wanting them to know that I have a cleaning robot and more to do with the fact that I like excuses to say roomba aloud. It's an oddly amusing/pleasing/ridiculous word.

LOL! I received two of those pucks a long time ago when my F5 finger was faster than the new wooters are today along with an MP3 watch. I am a gadget freak plain and simple, an early adopter with a compulsion for electronics gadgetry. Don't have a clue where that MP3 watch is, My puck was missing off my desk a few weeks back and we had a family meeting to get it back. I'm holding the other one hostage just in case.

My crap arrived!!! It contained:

100 floppies - I don't have a floppy drive, I may need some glue however...
Hardly working book - was hillarious and informational
Virgin CD player - untested need batteries
Big camera bag
Toy knife that retracts into the handle when you 'stab' things - will be fun to show my friends kids hehe

Was really hoping for one puppy keychain, those are adorable! However, the book is awesome so may forgive for woot forgetting to pack me one ;)

OK so I have finally gotten around to posting the contents of my Blinged-Out Cabbage..

Vector jump start device
1 Gelicious pen
1 Cross ink pen
1 Weird gun-shaped lighter/laser pointer/noisemaker toy
1 RCA Dog Keychain
1 Virgin 2.4 GHz cordless phone
1 Samsonite bag
And perhaps the most interesting..
1 refurb (rox0rz!) Palm m105 w/ docking cradle and a copy of the Palm software on a blank, unmarked CDR - looks and works great!

Not bad on my first Blinged-Out Cabbage. Has anyone come up with a good charger for the Vector yet?

I followed the vector company trail through it's Black and Decker absorbtion to the dewalt.com website for odering parts. Went to category "jump starters" and then found my model (VEC011) and ordered the charger. $10 plus shipping. it's on backorder right now through 2/22, but it let me order it.
