I am sooo sad, I think I may cry. But I am a big boy, so I will bottle it up until one day I just erupt with all of these emotions coming out at once. I don't know what I will do if I don't get it next time.

woot shoulda put a laptop between 16.2 and 16.3. They would have sold more laptops faster because people wanted to get to 16.3, if it existed.

granted, if that was the case, these damn speakers would be gone by now. buy 3, i wanna see 16.5!

What's the most expensive item anyone got from a Blinged-Out Cabbage? A new laptop? A DVR? A 61" TV (i've heard that was a lie though). Thanks for your time.

So far I think the count through 16.4 is 6000. I think Woot should make it 10000 at least but could possibly go all the way to 15000, hence the .1, .2, .3, .4,....etc.

I got one and I even had time to order 3! Fourth time is a charm I guess! My coworkers were quite excited I got through. I did, however, promise to not open my Bandolier of Carrots right away and bring it into work (Unless of course my Bandolier of Carrots is BIG then I'll be opening it right away.)

Ok, I'm really going to shoot myself now. After 16.3, I watched closely for perhaps 16.4. My wife calls me away from the computer for 2 minutes, I come back and the Logitech has sold out and a Bag of Crap has been put up again.

I miss it 4 times in a row.

Better yet, maybe I should just shoot my wife instead.

I can't come close to calling this process fair -- the split method had some good and some bad effect, just as the 'completely crashed servers' method had some of both. from what I understand it was only 16.2 that reported previously ordered as the gaps between 2-3 and 3-4 were sufficient to clear up the order markers.

it's possible that it was even less fair than I am aware, and your assumption would be correct.

Not to mention they DID fix something. the servers havnt crashed like they have many times before. woot has definately listened to the complaints in the past and incorperated solutions which have kept the machines up. If you didnt have a quick mouse finger, you cant blame woot. After 4 chances, dont think anyone has any sympathy for you if you complain that you are slow. you must be one with the browser.

yep, you're right: 16.1 started 100%. 16.2 started 50% (included 16.1's sales with new qty released) 16.3, 33%. Basically same sale, just fresh qty. keeps the order restriction in place so same folks didn't get multiple orders through. caused some other hiccups though. (kb's inbetween 16.1 and 16.2 sold faster than order queue could catch up, so some people got 'already ordered messages' in error)

So is this something new that you all are doing to give the servers a breather or is it a way to see who gets better crap like .4 version is better than .1 version or are we all in the same crap pool

So so so very happy - giddy in fact - after many failures, a waiting list or two, and thoughts of giving up on our beloved Woot for good - I finally can look forward to the infamous bag full of two used rubber bands and a plastic doohickie whose function can not be named! Ah, RAPTURE!!!

Given the warehouse move there might be a lot of crap. OTOH 6000 is more than the usual amount as is... I think the Christmas crap was only 3000 and the "standard" size is 4500.

IMHO if wasn't completely unfair but was a huge disadvantage to those of us that usually are very patient with the server pounding and get in line and wait patiently. While we are waiting other BOCs are being offered (behind our backs...lol) and we can't get in.

The splitting up thing didn't thrill me but no big deal. I am a bit annoyed at getting in line for the first only to be denied for the second. The third I missed, ok, fine, then the fourth I got to processing then denied.

I don't mind missing it because someone got there first, well, I'm bummed, but that's how it works, but i's annoying to miss it because I almost got it the first time. I hope if they do this again they fix the glitch.

Oh well, back to see what I can spend more than 8 bucks on.

Well I only got in on the last one and got a paypal error even though I was using credit card and then due to this error (im guessing) I got the already ordered message.. This tells me that there are way more problems than woot can handle. Like I said all in the day of woot. It happens and I knwo it does. Just gives a fella a bummed feeling but I will survive

Took a nap during the looooooong DVD player sale. Slept too, too long. Rats.

So... if you are "in line" in case someone gets denied, what are the odds of actually getting one? And how long does it take for the order to show in your accounts page?

It appears I'm one of the many with "in line" status on our orders from batch 1. I completely agree that this is total crap (pardon the pun). I'd have much rather seen the sold out message (yet again) than be teased with the 'in line' message and not be able to order any of the next 3 batches. I'd pretty much given up hope on ever actually getting a Blinged-Out Cabbage, but after this I think I've given up trying as well.
