Passenger App Control
Connect your iPhone® or iPod® Touch via the RC-202IPV cable (not included) to display compatible app content on the XAV-63 receivers display and control the app directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch with passenger app control.

iPod® and iPhone® video playback
Playback audio/video from most iPod® models via the RC-202IPV video cable (not included). Also view stored album artwork during audio playback on the screen of the XAV-63 receiver.

The Advanced Sound Engine uses EQ7 equalizer, adjustable LPF/HPF crossovers, Listener Position calibration, Center Speaker Organizer, Rear Bass Enhancer, and Dynamic Loudness volume leveler to create an ideal in-car listening environment.

Powerful in-dash amplification
The internal Dynamic Reality Amp delivers 52 watts x 4 to your interior speakers, allowing you to crank up the volume while maintaining low distortion, low noise levels and smooth frequency response. Your music isn’t just louder, its clearer too.

RCA outputs for system expansion
When you’re ready to expand your system, the XAV-63 offers 2 volt front and rear/sub selectable pre-amp RCA outputs for external amplifiers. The adjustable subwoofer level control lets you dial in the bass when you’re ready to pump it up.

Auxiliary Audio/Video inputs
The dedicated rear auxiliary AV input provides additional source playback and a connection for the Sony® XA-800C rear view camera (not included) for visibility when backing up, especially with larger trucks or SUVs.

The immaculate reception
The Digital Clarity Tuner delivers industry leading signal to noise ratios, lower interference, better multipath rejection and better stereo separation. The RDS feature displays broadcast information when listening to compatible AM/FM stations.

Optional wireless remote (not included)
Control your receiver while keeping your eyes on the road with the optional wireless card remote (RM-X170).

Steering wheel control ready input
This receiver is compatible with aftermarket remote control adapters designed to utilize the vehicles existing, primary radio controls directly from the steering wheel. The 1/8” rear panel mounted remote input jack allows for simple connectivity.
