Ah, well. It’s not so bad, really. At least I’ve got a view of the water anywhere I look. And they did give me this Acer Aspire 17.3” Dual-Core Notebook with Blu-Ray & Windows 7, so that’s nice. I mean, four gigs of RAM, that’s pretty imperial, right? Alexander the Great only had 64k in his machine, if I recall my lessons. And there’s a 320GB hard drive, that’ll take a while to fill up, even though if I ever DO fill it all up, I could always get a cheap external hard drive. But that’s for the future. Right now I’d better sit down and start learning how to control the Windows 7 installation so that I can … huh, I don’t have proper permissions. That’s not cool. Hey, Balcombe, you got the password for this thing?

Yeah, there we go. You’d think a brand new Acer Aspire 17.3” Dual-Core Notebook with Blu-Ray & Windows 7 would be set up properly. I bet it was my enemies in the French government. Anyway, I guess if you ever manage to find me a copy, I can use the built-in HDMI port to plug in a bigger screen. It supports HDCP too, so… well, I don’t know what that means.
