This is definitely what’s been keeping me from running.

It’s winter, and that means the sun doesn’t seem to rise ‘til 9am or so, which is really cramping my attempts at getting fit again. I mean, I had it all drawn up: wake at six for a nice morning run, back home for a healthy breakfast, shower, off to work, hit the gym before grabbing an equally healthy lunch, then home for a SUPER healthy dinner, then an evening walk to unwind.

But I can’t even get started with my perfect plan because it’s just too dark!

Honestly, that’s the only thing keeping me from getting out of bed every morning. I’m just concerned about my safety as a runner on the road. Well, near the road. Yes, there’s a sidewalk, but that’s no guarantee. Cars go up on sidewalks all the time. Well, there have been documented incidents of cars on sidewalks. Okay, there was one. No, no one was hurt.
