The Granite Gear Nimbus Trace backpack incorporates the key elements of the award winning, trail tested Ozone pack with the addition of stretch woven upper side zipper pockets, a center lateral stretch mesh pocket, improved the lower side stretch pockets, and innovative suspension.  The floating lid can be removed and the arched LineLoc compression system saves weight over webbing and allows the load to be cinched tight in every direction, and also allows you to lash additional gear to the pack. The pack's durable and versatile lower stretch mesh pockets on the pack sides work well for water bottles and the tall front center pocket is great for damp tarps or ultralight tents.

Topoflex Advection Suspension

The Topoflex frame sheet follows both the vertical and horizontal contours of the back, allowing for a more consistent load distribution leading to better blood circulation and less muscle fatigue. The suspension is The suspension is engineered with three distinct zones of flexibility--a shock absorbing lumbar zone; a semi-rigid mid-back zone for even weight distribution and the perfect level of torsional flex; and a rigid upper zone that accommodates the load lifters to pull the whole load close to your back. The Advection back panel features foam panels that allow air to flow freely between the back and the frame sheet to allow for evaporative cooling.
