Strange Visitors From an Internet Retailer

Sail back before the day gets bright

I’ve been wondering. Why is it, in this technological age, when everybody’s got a digital camera on him all the time, and everyone’s phone takes photos and video, how come we still don’t have any good pictures of alien UFOs?

And don’t go saying it’s because alien spacecraft don’t exist. That’s what you always say about everything. You can’t use the same reason for UFOs and Bigfoots and ghosts and lake monsters and Chupacabras.

I think it might be because UFOs appear and disappear so quickly, and they move really fast, so it’s hard to be ready to snap a photo of one at just the right time. That’s why I’m going to practice taking pictures of this Microgear remote-control flying saucer, so I’m trained for the real thing.

It’s small, probably smaller than a real UFO, although I guess there’s no reason aliens couldn’t be really little. So that will make it even harder to capture on camera. Plus it doesn’t really fly very long after you charge it up, so that will help simulate the time pressure I’ll be under whenever I see a UFO in the field. I’ve been watching the skies for years now, so I would hate to miss my chance to document a flying saucer when I finally do spot one. Mine will be the photo that closes the UFO debate forever, I just know it.

Of course, if one of my photos of this Microgear toy turns out cool enough, I may just try to pass that off. I mean, I’m not going to wait forever.
