T307

The T307 is a classic rectangle in three shades of high quality acetate. Constructed from carbon fiber temples with acetate temple tips inspired by Vapor collection zipper pull, while end pieces are acid-etched to recall the signature Tumi ballistic nylon pattern. The T307, like the entire collection of sunglasses, is fitted with a custom ZR3 polarized lens with 100 percent UV protection.

Carbon Fiber

TUMI’s carbon fiber is a strong, ultra-light and expensive composite material, a fiber-reinforced polymer. Similar to fiberglass (glass-reinforced polymer), it has many applications in the aerospace and automotive fields. Our carbon fiber temples are made of five layers of carbon “fabric,” produced under extremely high pressure to create a solid sheet that is then cut into the desired shape.
