Did you order a whiskey and water? Well, that’s crazy, but okay, if it’s what you asked for, go ahead and enjoy it. But did you order a whiskey on the rocks? Hey, why is there water in that glass, then? Oh, it’s frozen? So it’s like rocks? Yeah, sounds like you need a little understanding of chemistry and physics, Issac Newton, because in about twenty minutes those “rocks” are going to be the exact opposite of solid.

Better to just save that money you’d spend at Chez Stupid and get a nice bottle for yourself. Something that starts with “Glen” most likely. Oh, and don’t forget your Whiskey Stones for that sweet Highland chill in a way that water just won’t ever manage.

These 100% natural soapstone rocks won’t suddenly turn your drink into a flavorless watered down mess. Pop ‘em in the freezer for about two hours and you’ve got a nice chilly spirit without any strange odors or flavors. Thirty seconds in the microwave and you’ve got a toddy-in-progress, with a drink that warms slowly from the inside out (but won’t burn your delicate lips!) Think you can manage that with H-two-Oh, Mister Bartender? Or do your magic “rocks” of ice turn into something very different when heated?

How to Use

  • Keep Cold Drinks Cold:
    - Place stones in freezer for 2 hours or more
    - When ready, add 3-4 standard size stones per drink and enjoy
    - To clean, rinse with warm water
  • Keep Hot Drinks Hot:
    - Place (2) stones in the microwave for no more than 30 seconds
    - Add the stones to your drink and enjoy
    - To clean, rinse with warm water

Care

  • NOT recommended for use in a cocktail shaker
  • NOT recommended in a delicate wine glass (e.g. Riedel)
  • Work best in small volume drinks (2-3 ounces)
  • Not meant for high volume drinks unless you use a large number of rocks to sufficiently chill your drink
  • To clean, simply rinse in water and air dry before storing in freezer or drawer
  • Soapstone is non-reactive to common household cleaners
