I tell you, these are tough times. You work hard to find the right recipe, get all the best ingredients, and really hone your skills when it comes to making a perfect flaky crust, and for what? Seems like just when you’ve set that golden brown beauty in the window to cool, some hobo’s just waitin’ in the bushes to snatch it from you. Dang hoboes. Why do they gotta be so fast? By the time I’ve found my rolling pin for chasing them, they’re long gone! Why can’t they just jump their trains, sing their songs, eat their beans around a campfire with a mangy old dog, and leave my pies alone!?
