Vizio gets its name from the "viz" part of "vision" in "television" which is what "TV" means when you say it properly. Of course, if you're like most people, you won't be watching  "TV" on your TV. You'll be watching Netflix and Hulu and maybe YouTube or streaming music or plugging in games and DVDs. But hey, if you DO want to watch TV like some kind of freak? You can do that too.
