This is my first Bandolier on Chewie in years.

Are there ever any awesome Bandolier on Chewie's anymore? Like back in the day, a couple folks would randomly get a Wii (when they were a big deal) or a big screen TV. That was why Bandolier on Chewie's because a big deal, the chance of getting lucky with something like that, right? And the miscellaneous crap would be consolation prizes.

Are all Bandolier on Chewie's just full of crap nowadays?

IMHO, today's Bandolier on Chewies are all as big as some letter boxes used to be and the big ticket items in the letter boxes may or may not be as amazing as those in boxes or yore. My letter box contained Ferragamo sunglasses that originally retailed for $360 and were still selling for $160 at the time I got them. They aren't particularly flashy, but they are really good sunglasses, even better than my Ray Bans (which also came from WOOT, but I paid way less than retail and way more than $10 for.)

And don't forget Dave's Wooster. A six foot tall metal rooster statue is almost as random as the anvil, or the pallet of broken but fixable TVs.

I asssume I'll never get a letter again, but I have gotten some good items in the Bandolier on Chewies I got since the letter Box.

How great that your letter crap is here, but WHAT is that your kids put on Sophie's head? Does she have a little "Super dog" outfit?

She isn't wearing it in the picture AFTER you opened the letter box. Did the kids try to say "the dog did it" - my husband frequently blames things on Hamilton, whose major fault is that he loves my husband so much that he, the dog, wants to be right by him as much as possible.

EDIT, never mind, when I look closely, I see that Sophie's "hoodie" is just her back and her ears. That is sort of a super dog trick she pulled on me, tell her she's a smart girl!

I received a smallish but fairly heavy box. Inside was a LOT of crap:

    1. A paper bag with a Question Mark "?" on it
    2. A package of white metal Flower Box Brackets, some assembly required
    3. An official woot.com green Crappy Ice Scraper
    4. A spare Li-Ion 1900mAh Cell Phone Battery
    5. 2 Milton V Style Hi-Flo 1/4" Plugs
    6. 2 1.5 ft Ethernet Patch Cables
    7. Mister Twister FAT Curly Tail Grub fish bait, 9 pack, watermelon red
    8. A 2W LED Filament Bulb
    9. 3 2"x2" decals - Knights Who Say "Ni", T-Rex "RAWR", Princess Bride
    10. A 3 Pack of padded 6x9 mailers
    11. A SharkBite 1/2" by 1/2" Straight Coupling (for plumbing)
    12. An Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp 42" Fluke Spinner Rig for saltwater fishing
    13. 3 JM 14-83 Fishhooks
    14. A generic UBS wall plug, white (ironically in a padded 6x9 mailer)
    15. 5 Topps Baseball Cards: 1979 Buddy Bell, 1991 Gary Gaetti, 1995 Kent Hrbek and Peter Ueberroth, and 1998 Brett Butler
    16. A Youth Small white tee shirt
    17. A 500 Pack of white, 4.5" Fluted Paper Baking Cups (think cupcakes)
    18. A Zip It Open Bottle Opener, with a magnetic rubber back so you can stick it to your refrigerator where it will always be ready for you
    19. 1 red/purple and 1 green/blue wacky Flash Balls (they work!)
20-21-22. 3 Books (the main reason the box was heavy): Put Your Intuition to Work by Lynn Robinson, The Prize by Dale Russakoff (subtitled Who's In Charge of America's Schools?), and The New England Orchard Cookbook by Linda Beaulieu. The cookbook is hardcover and very nice, with a lot of recipes that use apples.
    23. A new Spooky Castle board game for ages 6+
    and finally...
    24. A woot screaming monkey with a dark blue/light blue diamond pattern cape!

This would be a perfect box for a plumber who likes to fish and bake, and has small kids. That doesn't quite describe me, but I'm grateful nonetheless. Thanks woot!

-a 3d advent calendar in the shape of a bus!
-a tool cubby that has probably 20-30 slots
-a Wampa Star Wars small dog costume. We tried it on the orange and white cat later---not a fan
-a LifeStraw! Finally, can mark that off my Christmas list
-a large plastic container to fill with sand or water to hold a patio umbrella.
-a half of a soccer ball. It is a hover ball, seems to fly around like a hockey puck but for the soccer crowd.
-a giant clock. Currently under debate as to the location, probably going in the man cave
-right along with the sweet gaming keyboard
    -iPhone lightning cable
    -a single ninja blender cup.
-a new shower head. Actually, an identical shower head to the one I bought a few years ago. We now will have matching showerheads in our house!!
    -a new kitchen sink faucet
-this butter & chocolate book. a cookbook where everything starts with brownie batter as the base ingredient. Wife has diabetes so this book is dangerous.
-a Dallas cowboys single use tablecloth (underneath the cat).
    -a XXXL dress shirt
-a body scale with composition info on it.
-10 small fake grass locking tiles. Currently trying to figure out where I want to have grass in the house.
-bag of 1 to 2-inch farm animals that one cat relocated somewhere.
-and finally, taking up most of the weight in the right hand of the picture, this Jura coffee machine... to be precise:
Jura ENA Micro 5 Double Action Automatic Coffee Machine (Silver).
It was used because there are coffee grounds scattered about and a few beans left in it. Wife says sell for trip to Florida. I say enjoy coffee from a $1,000 machine. We leave in June.

    Thanks woot for everything!!!
