I just know son and his friends played it and said it wasn't that good.
So don't spend $25 on it.
If it is $5 it is worth it for the playing pieces.

Has Twitter decided to ignore Woot since one Celeste P. decided to ask Twitter if she wanted a shirt from Woot 16 hours ago?

mabe woot stopped updating for a bit. if you go to twitter and do a shirt on "woot.com" there are probably tweets since then. especially since the twitter chatter box is titled "tweets by and about woot" but the last set of woots from last nite was missing.

wait, i see a new set of tweets now!

More than likely she hasn't told them her birthday. I've been notified of others this week.

I haven't seen any in awhile.

wow, kids today are dumb. The local news station just did a story on a facebook page where HS kids post pictures of parties. Drunk, passed out, vomit, nudity. Not too bright!

Kids in that age group are almost always dumb, not just today. I remember a few things that make me shudder.

Thanks for the bday wishes! Son took me to dinner and then we went to a movie. And I slept in. Nice day. Edit: and taking today and tomorrow off to spend time with son.

I took my birthday off Facebook. Didn't feel like having it up there.

Jack Ryan, Shadow Recruit. It was good but not great. Worth the cheap theater price we paid.

Did you see Monuments Men? I enjoyed it. Plot was good, acting was good. But I don't think it was put together well. When I got home I read about it and some of it made more sense then.

Just need to keep my eyes open for about another hour and a half.

Dad hasn't slept since 11 a.m. Sunday. He is still fidgeting. He was running a fever this morning about 3:30. No poop since last Saturday.

I had the most fun last night. A couple I know from church came over last night. Dad and I had already decided to give her dad's newest hearing aids.

She and dad hear about the same amount. Having them together is aways funny. Sadly dad didn't know them last night.

Anywho, When dad got upgraded to this pair he gave her the older pair. It totally revolutionized her life. It was so fun watching her respond to the things she was hearing!

Last night I decided to trade hearing aids with her and dad. The ear molds are personalized and one just needs to switch them, so I did. Part of what was so fun was watching her when I linked her phone to the hearing aids. Normally she needs to use the speaker phone and then her husband still has to translate what's being said. With the new set it goes straight to the hearing aids. It was a blast watching her "hear" her phone, without it being on speaker, for the first time since I've known her!

It also helped with watching dad fidget and not know me, knowing that his gift is changing a dear friend's life. He will actually change two lives; once he dies I will give the older set to my Uncle Earl. He lost one of his and ths pair will be wonderful. Plus with my aunt using the transmitter he wil be able to hear her voice much easier. It is nice to know that something of dad's will bless two other people directly after he dies. It makes this part more bearable.

Good morning! The sun finally came out yesterday it was fabulous! We grilled pork chops. I sat on the porch in the sun.

Yesterday morning it was rainy and cold. I met the kid that is visiting upstairs. He is from Buffalo. He had on shorts and flip flops. He thought it was warm! Lol it is all relative.

In the parking lot there are cars from New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, New York, even one from Illinois.

I took a sick day today, all sinus-y and woke up with a sore throat. Napped this afternoon, about to go back to sleep. I think it's largely from lack of sleep the previous few nights earlier this week doing upgrades at work after everyone had left for the day.

Some stuff is poking up through the ground!

The grass seems a little less dead.

There is another snow storm for next week on the weather charts.

Who cares, it melts when in snows in late march/early april.

I have to check the supermarket parking lot to see if the snow piles are gone yet.
They were around 6 feet high the last time I looked.

Easy drop off, pickup day with the inlaws.

Good Saturday Morning!

I waited in line a half an hour yesterday for the car wash. My car is now cleaner than it has been in 6 months. And we are expecting more wintry weather on Tuesday. Oh well.

Planning on starting up the hot rods today. Car show season is just around the corner.

Will also be tackling the boring drudgery of some light home maintenance and laundry. Maybe a quick trip to the dollar store. Woo Hoo!

I guess I shouldn't have clicked that if I didn't want that in my head for the rest of the day. Pretty funny the people who recorded themselves singing, though.
