Poll: My receiver will mostly be used for:
  • 0% - My TV. What can I say? I like my shows to sound good. 0
  • 0% - Radio. Nothing gives the AM band a boost like 3D sound. 0
  • 0% - Watching movies via DVD or Blu-Ray. I want that HDMI theater feel. 0
  • 0% - Playing my CD player. I’ve got very good taste. 0
  • 0% - My vinyls! I’m just getting into them now that I have a turntable! 0
  • 0% - Plugging in other device I’ll talk about more in the comments. 0
  • 0% - Really? It’s VINYL, you moron. Like a moose full of music. Get with it, n00b. 0

Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Agreed. Everything we have runs through our receiver...but since we cut satellite/cable it's primarily used with our xbox360 (hulu, games, netflix)

I still remember my first flying monkey...

Up to now, we only used it for the computer running the media center application. Once the basement is finished, we'll have the computer, a Wii, a Playstation and a blu-ray player running through it.

Gotta keep the kids busy somehow ;)

Yup! What, you think I have a nice receiver but I listen to Spotify through a Jambox? That'd be a waste of the 5 bazillion ways to plug things into nice receivers

I have a Roku as well so I'll be streaming tv/video/dvd's and spotify.

Gaming. I got enough connectors to hook up my Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Wii, Playstation 2, XBox 360, and Sega Dreamcast. The Atari 2600 and Genesis still use the TV's coax connector though. HDMI upscaling is awesome!

My xbox 360, gaming was meant to be in surround sound.
