cold again, but not as bitter as yesterday. high just over freezing. overnight temps were in teens. we set a record low temp for the day at 23 in Boston overnight.

the new england ski slopes are open, mostly man made snow, but still.

I would like the 50's back, please.

ok, heading to central MA to bring N his winter coat, take him to lunch and restock his fridge.

he has also been entrusted with the school's $5000 HoloLens https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/hololens so I can try the app he helped make last year.

this is his app/game JayWalker https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/jaywalker/9p76lxr8hhb0

ROLL TIDE ROLL!

The Georgia/AwwBarn Game should be a good one! 2:30 cst.

It was a chilly 47 this morning.
High, 67, sunny and windy.
Leaves that have turned are disappointing.
Brown and down, damn.
One part of my yard looks like fall, the other still summer.
60s to 70s next week.
No frost yet.

In memory and honor of my dad, brother and everyone who has served our country.

My daddy, always wondered where I got my crooked smile!

Cal - there you are! Good to see you, sweetie! Our leaves went brown and down to a great extent also. Disappointing.

Oh, your daddy's picture....so very handsome! Reminds me of a boy I dated many moons ago who joined the Navy.

Yes, Happy Veterans Day to all who served...we will always remember.

the HoloLens is cool! son has a VR (virtual reality, immerses you in a VR world) Vive headset, which is also cool, but the HoloLens is AR (augmented reality, so you can still see room around you). the game was fun and the best part was I beat husband's score LOL

I also gave his bathroom a good wipe down with antibacterial wipes, and bought him a broom on the way home. you'd think the dorm would have brooms for kids to use (apartment style dorms).

he said they've seen heard a mouse. he discovered it was coming out of a bottom cabinet. so he blocked the cabinet doors and they have not seen it since. so I'm going to look for one of those cabinet door locks you get to keep babies out.

Oogie had a holiday open house today from 10-4. Turnout was great. Got some Thanksgiving orders and even a couple for Christmas. Quite a few newcomers who have never been in (some we even knew). My boss was in too. He became a grandpa (again overnight. His oldest granddaughter was with him. It was her mother who had the baby. Mom and dad stopped by for a while.

This is the sample table...

This was probably 1960 in Fort Dix NJ before he was sent to (peacetime) Korea.

my mum is making a roast beef dinner for us tomorrow. my sister doesn't eat red meat, but we love it, so K asked her if she'd make dinner sometime. perfect meal for these cold days, too.

I'm off to work on the packing of my gift. still need a couple more b0c things for the box (your welcome!)

You found the best "gift gifs" this evening! I've got to work on my box...maybe tomorrow? Today was grocery and laundry day. I am whipped. Good for nothing more than watching tv from the recliner.

My tooth actually hurts so much less.
Weird.
Maybe the whatevericillin I took did help something. No throbbing/swelling.

Still thinking/worried about the tooth-jerker. Monday. shit.
