Indications
The pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy and Clearblue Digital and Rapid Detection pregnancy tests can be used to test up to 5 days sooner than missed period(1). (1) Both the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test and the Clearblue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test can be used 5 days before/sooner than your missed period, which is up to 4 days before the expected period. The amount of pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy. In clinical testing, the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test detected the pregnancy hormone in 75% of women when testing 4 days before the expected period, 95% at 3 days before, 99% at 2 days before and 99% at 1 day before; the Clearblue Rapid Detection Pregnancy Test detected the pregnancy hormone in 56% of women when testing 4 days before the expected period, 88% at 3 days before, 97% at 2 days before and 98% at 1 day before. If you test early and get a ‘Not Pregnant’ result it is possible that the level of pregnancy hormone may not yet be high enough to be detected. You should test again when you expect your period.
