These gizmos were originally designed for the award-winning Omnifi system you’ve seen here before, but you can use them to connect your notebook or desktop computer to a wireless network, too. It will not be, as they say, “plug-and-play.” Before you can put them to this ingenious alternate use, you’ll have to download D-Link’s drivers. (You’ll find the links you need in the forum.) Know this: It will only work with Windows XP. Yeah, it’s kind of a diva, but we must allow genius its eccentricities.
