Better than I originally thought (so I bought another)

This is my first Foray into Boomco, which I have avoided for years because the darts are not interchangeable with Nerf foam darts. Boomco darts are available in a variety of colors, generally cheaper then Nerf brand darts, and are quite difficult to break even if you step on them. My 5 year old was able to work the crank and pump out the shots, so a comfortable size for smaller users, But not too small for an adult to use comfortably. The stock, once attached, is not going to come off again unless you disassemble the blaster. The crank handle can attach to either side, and can pull off if you decide you want it on the other side, but a small tiny piece of plastic broke off on mine when I moved it so I wouldn't want to switch the sides too often. After a couple of switches I've decided to stick with the crank on the right. There are two ways to fire; crank and then aim, or hold the trigger and crank continuously for a steady rain of darts. The provided 8 clip won't last long for a rain of darts, but you can get 20 and 40 dart clips which will also work in this blaster, and are unlikely to break even if trodden on. These clips are also used in some other Boomco blasters. For aimed fire you can hold with the left hand and crank with the right, or keep your right hand on the grip, flip the blaster onto its side, and use your left to work the crank. For a stream of darts, switch the blaster to your off-hand and use your strong hand to work the crank. You're not going to be aiming much, so using your off-hand to hold the trigger down and point is not a great disadvantage. The darts have sticky tips which Boomco's 'thing'. However these will only stick to very clean smooth surfaces, while also sticking to dust, dirt, loose cat hair, sand, grass clippings, and anything else you might have in your house or garden. Fortunately you can ignore the stickiness and it soon goes away with a general coating of dust. The crank is a trifle clunky to work, but an interesting variation on the usual pump action. Range is on a par with Nerf dart blasters.

Do not want.

Was hoping it would be compatible with nerf, it is not. The bullets are smaller and oddly sticky, which makes them uncomfortable to touch, let alone always collecting dust and dog hairs. Was difficult to load, and difficult to operate, and my kid could not get it to work on his own at all. Returned, unwanted.
