We highly recommend using distilled or demineralized water with Ice Maker. It is beneficial to prolong the service life of the machine.
If using tap water with high levels of minerals (also called hard water), it can cause mineral buildup in the water pipe. If using hard water, clean the unit frequently.
Please leave the ice maker 6-inch space to the wall
The 16-minute ice making time refers to the time it takes for the machine to gradually produce ice cubes, not the time it takes to produce a full basket of ice.
Every time start on the nugget ice maker, it will do several minutes self-cleaning. Thus, it's normal when you see water cycling after starting the ice machine.
For better use of the nugget ice maker, we suggest running the CLEAN cycle once every 1 to 2 weeks. Unplug the Ice Maker and drop the drain to empty out any remaining water in the tank. Clean with mild dish soap and warm water. Gently wipe with a soft damp washcloth.
