Hey everyone. We ventured into some shaky territory last week with some of the submissions. Got quite a few comic strip character puns when we were looking for comic book characters. Nitpicky, perhaps but they're not they same thing! (Special note: Peppermint Pâté would have won our top spot if Peanuts had been a comic book.) We'll keep comic strips in mind for a later post. Meanwhile, there was no Secret Pun winner. We were looking for "Spider Naan." Pot's now up to $10.
This week we're heading back to Punner's Choice IV for our theme. Can't believe this one didn't make the cut the first time around! Let's give a shout out to daveinwarshington for coming up with candy and cartoon characters. Again, let's stick with the animated sort, not the Sunday comics bunch. If they crossed over, we'll allow it.
