Phew! June was all 80 degree weather, July was 90 degrees, and August has regularly hit 100. At this rate, it'll be 110 degrees in September, and 460 degrees by August 2014. Better get a couple fans while the gettin's good.
Used to be that if you wanted to stay cool, you had to migrate to the tundra. July in the 1910s saw thousands of sweltering Americans trekking across the great Canadian plains to the Yukon. Then came "electricity" and the great migration dried up.
