Tumi Humber Polarized Sunglasses

The Humber has a rich Japanese acetate front with temples that have been hand-wrapped in genuine Tumi leather. This process takes up to 20 minutes per frame and is highly specialized.  The shape is a squared-off aviator, in a shape that suits a variety of faces, featuring the rings of Saturn at temple tips.

Carbon Fiber

TUMI’s carbon fiber is a strong, ultra-light and expensive composite material, a fiber-reinforced polymer. Similar to fiberglass (glass-reinforced polymer), it has many applications in the aerospace and automotive fields. Our carbon fiber temples are made of five layers of carbon “fabric,” produced under extremely high pressure to create a solid sheet that is then cut into the desired shape.
