A Skincare Staple – Gentle, Refreshing, and So Versatile!
By Drea Chooly on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2025
I’ve used this for years and always make sure to have it on hand. It’s the perfect balance—cleansing and moisturizing, but never too much. ✔️ Gentle & Effective – Leaves my skin feeling fresh without irritation. ✔️ Light, Rosy Scent – Soft and natural, not overpowering. ✔️ Great for Quick Cleansing – If I’m in a hurry, I grab some cotton balls and use this as a quick refresher or makeup remover. This is a must-have for any skincare routine—simple, effective, and soothing. Highly recommend!

increasing oiliness at first. Worth it?
By Daniel Klibanoff on Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2015
So far I'm not impressed. What I look for in a toner: I like the cotton ball to have dirt and makeup on it that was left over after I wash my face. I like it to tingle and maybe even burn a little, so I know my pores are tightened, and I like it to leave my skin enough natural oils so that it doesn't work extra hard to replace them and thus make my skin greasy. Since I was 14 I have used a lot of Clinique's toner for combination/oily skin, which seems to do all the things I want, but the alcohol strips my skin of its natural oils and can make my face red and blotchy. I've used a whole bottle of witch hazel and liked it. It didn't leave the cotton ball dirty or make my skin tingle, but it left the natural oils. So, so far it's been a catch-22 and in the mean time I got a generic "sensitive skin astringent" from the dollar store which pretty much works great, but has a smell I don't like. I've used THIS toner two days this week after I got it and both times I had greasier skin and cakier makeup. I'm not sure if this product is to blame, or if it's something else I'm using. I read one person said that it caused the oils to come out of their pores the first few days, but it was a kind of cleansing, and it stopped after a few days and then they really loved it. So I was kind of expecting that to happen, and it did. Maybe I should stick with it and see if it gets better. I honestly really prefer my sensitive skin astringent from the dollar store.
