Our GSD loves this toy. I have to keep 2 in reserve for him because he's lost without them to play with. They are very heavy rubber and the right shape for catching when thrown. He holds onto one end when he wants to play tug of war. It is very durable. Anyone who has a German Shepherd knows how hard it is to keep a good toy in one piece for long. This toy holds up for a very long time. He plays hard with it every day and it will last for months and months. Snow doesn't hurt it and the bright colors help in finding it. Price is very reasonable.

Disappointing Dog Toy Experience: No Interest, No Interaction.

My dogs showed no interest in it at all, which is unusual since they'll usually chase after anything I throw. I originally wanted the navy blue one, as that color typically catches their attention, but instead, I received a light green avocado-colored version. They took one look at it and completely ignored it—they didn’t even bother to sniff it. It also doesn't squeak, so there's nothing about it that excites them. On top of that, it's quite heavy, and if I'm not careful while throwing it, I could accidentally hurt one of my dogs.
