If you like the smell of overpriced alcohol, with some undertones of stinky(new) leather, vanilla, and spices, this cologne is perfect. Right off the bat, the alcohol scent is predominant, nauseating to the point of causing your senses to regret spraying it on yourself, after 5 minutes the scent becomes tolerable, you can actually smell it's undertones, 20 minutes later, and you realize you smell like you hadn't put cologne on. Personally, i prefer armani code or chocolate axe, they last longer and smell better, this cologne is going in the trash once I receive my new scent, I dont know why I hadn't liked this one, I sprayed the john varvatos line on those cards in ulta and remembered the line being all similar but good, perhaps my nostrils were accustomed to different tastes back then. I can honestly say, if your buying this cologne with the desire of impressing ladies(or men, whichever you prefer), 1) look into other colognes, this won't work, and 2) how about instead trying to impress people with your sophisticated witt and charm, which will never be compensated for with your smell. I dont understand how some reviews argue this is how a 'man' smells, for me that scent is limited to spent brass, sawdust, fresh mowed grass, and sweat, scents I have regrettably found to be able to pick women up with, but i divulge, it was probably the worst smell one can have, but it worked out and I wasn't expecting to run in to anyone, if i had this cologne on, the outcome would be the same, dont buy cologne to impress someone, buy it because your a metrosexual who desires to smell good, there's nothing wrong with not smelling like you just ran a marathon and bench pressed a bus, just dont buy this one, its 86 dollars better spent on another cologne, i won't buy this again but if you want to experiment with it, I dont blame you, I made the same mistake.
