Pyrex 8pc Bowl Set

I love the Pyrex brand. Definitely worth the price I paid for these 4 bowls with lids. They are heavy and I will still be using these for years to come. The lids fit snugly and keeps food fresher longer than if it were stored in a plastic bowl. The bowls are more shallow than I thought they would be, but they still work for my purposes. I made mashed potatoes in the largest bowl. No problems. I use the smaller one for making omelets.They are great for storing leftovers. I like that they all stack into the largest bowl for easy storage. Easy to clean. ADDENDUM: Downgraded this bowl set. I cannot get the smell out of the lids. I made shrimp ceviche in the large bowl and I stored it in the bowl with the lid on to keep it fresh (which it did), but now I can't get the smell out of the lid. It stinks and I don't really want to use it again in case the smell is going to permeate from the lid to other foods I store in this bowl. I really didn't expect this from Pyrex. UPDATE: I have had these bowls for months now. The lids still stink. I called the manufacturer and they wanted to charge me for new lids plus shipping. I told them that was ridiculous and that I would never buy Pyrex again. Then they said they would send me new lids for free including free shipping. I've had the new lids for months now and I am afraid to use them for anything that has a strong smell. So essentially, these have become strictly mixing bowls and on occasion serving bowls. The lids are great for anything that doesn't have strong aroma. Don't try storing garlic mashed potatoes in the bowls with the lid on it. I'm not downgrading my rating because, although it was a hassle to get the new lids, the Pyrex company did the right thing by sending new lids to rectify the problem.
