Midol: Because Setting the World on Fire Isn’t a Legal Option
By TayTayMcXXIV on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2025
If you’ve ever found yourself curled into a fetal position, contemplating whether your uterus is trying to secede from your body, let me introduce you to your new best friend: Midol Complete. This tiny capsule is the unsung hero of hormone-induced chaos. 💊 Pain? What Pain? Cramps? Gone. Headache? Gone. That weird, all-consuming back pain that feels like you got body-slammed by a grizzly bear? You guessed it—gone. Within 30 minutes of taking this, I went from "moaning into a heating pad" to "cleaning my apartment while singing along to 2000s pop hits." 😡 Mood-Swing Smoother It’s got caffeine and an antihistamine, which means not only does it knock out bloating and fatigue, but it also lifts you out of that PMS funk where you consider drop-kicking your partner for breathing too loud. Suddenly, the world feels a little less like it's personally attacking you. 🚫 No Weird Side Effects Unlike some other pain relievers that upset my stomach or make me feel like I’m floating sideways through space, Midol hits that sweet spot of “I feel like myself again” without turning me into a sleepy zombie or jittery squirrel. 📦 Pro Tip: Buy the Big Bottle Because when Aunt Flo shows up, she usually brings drama and backup. Keep one bottle at home, one at work, one in your car, and maybe throw one into a time capsule for future generations. They'll thank you. 👑 Final Verdict Midol Complete is the real MVP of menstrual survival. It doesn’t just dull the pain—it straight-up evicts it. If you’re tired of feeling like a bloated rage-beast every month, this is your tiny, teal-colored miracle. 10/10 would recommend. Uterus-tested, human-approved.

Makes me throw up
By Kimberly on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2022
I’ve come to realize that whenever I take Midol, I always end up feeling nauseous afterwards. At first, I thought that maybe I was taking the pills wrong and had to take it after eating something, but that just made me throw up my entire meal and leave my throat bitter. So, I thought that maybe I was taking too much at once and decided to only take 1 pill every 6 hours. However, the side affects were the same as I still felt nauseous after a few minutes of consuming. Moreover, Midol also takes too long to work. Personally for me, Midol takes at least 1-2 hours to work if you swallow it whole, and around 30 minutes if you chew it first. I get terrible cramps and the pain always makes me want to take 2 pills (which is the recommended amount) at once, but the heavy nausea that hit afterwards scare me (since the bottle says that signs of liver poisoning includes nausea and vomiting), so I try to handle the pain, which I believe really defeats the purpose of me taking Midol in the first place.
