Plackers Dental Floss, Mint- 90 Count

These miniature strung bows are the greatest invention since tooth picks. I've had nothing but all-clear check-ups since using them. The pictured "Micro Plackers," on the other hand, are not the pluckers that my previous flossers were. As sound as your teeth may be, there's often a space between them that traps bacterial critters (apparently not the friendly ones comprising the billions of good guys said to come with your preferred probiotic). If your flosser is too thin going in, it can leave in its wake fibrous matter that is too stout to come out. Apart from the mechanics of the device is the troubling claim that each has a mint coating that "freshens breath." The statement is perhaps problematic only to those who put such claims to the test. The memory, the sight, the hearing--they all succumb to the effects of time. Still, I've had no cause to suspect the taste is going, and quite frankly I don't detect any hint of mint. Does this mean that one's breath is therefore not freshened? No, but it represents a serious challenge to belief, especially since testing the claim through the cooperation of an intimate or associate could, regardless of the immediate test results, do as much injury to a relationship as breath that has not been freshened. I think I'll go back to my previous brand.
